This is an amazing, mind-blowing and breathtaking series that you will surely adore! Have you read the Percy Jackson series? If the answer is yes then read along, if the answer is no then you can go read my post about the Percy Jackson series and decide if you want to read it or not and then if you read that series, then come back to this post for a review if you should read the next series or not. So moving along, this remarkable series is based on Greek and Roman mythology and the whole spectacular series is intertwined around the prophecy that was given as a little cliffhanger at the end of the last book in the Percy Jackson series. (You can find the prophecy online if you don't remember it.) As the prophecy states, "Seven half-bloods shall answer the call," there are 7 main characters, 5 new characters and our old buddies Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase! The cool thing is that each book - except the last - 3 of the 7 main characters are the POV's in each book and they alternate chapters in the book which is so cool! I really love this series because of all the suspense, humor, adventure, thrill and because of how well all the story plots weaved so efficiently together and I really felt like that the different POV's in each book helped me understand each and every character, which made me enjoy it more! If you decide to read this series and you like it then you should read The Trials of Apollo - it's about the events right after this series - or 2 other amazing series by Rick Riordan that are Magnus Chase - occurs in the same time as the events of The Trials of Apollo and is about Norse Mythology- and the other series is Kane Chronicles which is about Egyptian Mythology. I give this series a 5 out of 5 because it was seriously amazing, thrilling, unputdownable and breathtaking series! Hope you enjoy this series as much as I did!!
