This has to be one of my all-time favorite series! Talk about the suspense in this series! Talk about the adventure! Talk about the humor! Talk about the awesome and unpredictable plot twists! Want to start an amazing, out-of-the-world, fantasy series with fairytales, adventure, suspense, and humor? Well, this series might soon become your favorite like mine so come on in and make up your mind to read it!!
This is an out-of-the-world, super amazing book series!! The main characters of this book are the spectacular twins - Alex & Connor Baily! Even though Alex & Connor are the main characters, the point of view switches in the book to other characters - like the villain and their friends and sometimes into different worlds - which creates suspense and gives us little clues to connect and think about! Now let's meet the main characters! Alex is a perfectionist, works really hard, loves reading, and always has a plan, but because of her skills, she gets teased a lot and doesn't have any friends. Conner loves to joke around and lighten up everyone's mood and has many good friends, but everyone is really hard on him because he doesn't get perfect grades like Alex. They were both so depressed because their father died in a car crash a few months ago that they forgot their 12th birthday! Their mom was really busy so their grandma comes and celebrates their birthday and gives them the old storybook she used to read them fairy tales out of when Alex & Conner were little, and after that is when their whole life changed!! I won't tell you anything else or it will spoil the whole series, but after you read this series or before - you choose when- there is a prequel trilogy to this series - A Tale of Magic trilogy - which is about the twins grandmother's story - I will surely post a book review about that trilogy, so don't forget to check that out! I love The Land Of Stories series because it had characters that were so realistic - I felt like I would love to be friends with them, that it had tremendous and crazy plot twists that kept me guessing, it had little morals here and there that taught me a lot and last but not least because the dots of the story connected so efficiently, it was awesome! I absolutely loved this series and enjoyed it so much and I really hope that you do too!!
