Wings of Fire: The Second Arc (Books 6-10) By : Tui T. Sutherland

Have you read the first arc of Wings of Fire? Can't wait to read the second arc? Then you are at the right spot! This book review is for the second arc!

This amazing 15 book series - Wings of Fire - is split into 3 different series which each has 5 different main characters and a different prophecy and each series is called an arc and this book review is for the second arc! First I have to ask you, have you read the first arc (books 1-5)? If the answer is yes, then read along and if the answer is no, then go and read the book review about the first arc and decide if you want to read it or not.

So this is the review of the second acr and most of the series is centered around 5 dragon friends and Peril! The 5 dragon friends; Moonwatcher - a NightWing and she has a big seacret, she can read minds, she was also mentioned in Sunny’s book before, Winter - an Icewing Prince (nephew to Queen Glacier) and a very grumpy dragon who dosn’t like NightWings, but is diffrent than you think at first glance, Kinkajou - a Rainwing and the most jumpiest, chattiest, funnest dragon ever and has played a key role in Glory’s book, and sadly dosn’t have a book in her P.O.V, Turtle - a SeaWing Prince, brother of Tsunami, has a big seacret, that we find out later in the series, Qibli - a SandWing, very loyal to Queen Thorn, very clever and funny and was in Sunny’s book, and lastly Peril - a SkyWing, a dragon with fire scales, friends with Clay and was in the last arc, as Queen Scarlet’s pet but, she helped the prophecy dragons a lot and helps these 5 dragons too!

The 5 dragons go to the new school called Jade Mountain Academy and suddenly, a new prophecy arises and this time a real one! So the 5 dragon friends try to stop the prophecy and the big villain, together! This series is super awesome and fast pace, with plot-twists, seacrets and awesome characters! One thing I really enjoyed in this series was how they defeated the villain, because this type of ending for a villain was actually really new and interesting!

I would give this arc a 4.5/5 because the prophecy was a little confusing to understand how it weaved in with the plots but, it was seriously an awesome series! I would recommend this book to people who enjoy fantasy and are older than 10. If you don’t like to read long books or you are younger than 10, then there is a graphic novel version of it too! Hope you enjoy this arc as much as I did!
